Dear Mr. McDermott,
last year your company introduced a new logo to underline the strategy of „run simple“. It must have felt like a small „democratic revolution“, when your employees claimed back their old logo, to which they identified much more, than one could have known before. If you look at the work-culture in your company, would you say that the people working for SAP want to be more involved in such decisions than let’s say 10 years ago? And if so, what positive impact does this striving of your employees to be an active partner in such decision have on your company’s growth? And what could your company do, to foster this?
I am looking forward to hear your personal opinion on this, as the striving of employees for more participation on a par seems to be a major topic for the competitiveness of Germanys economy and it would be very valuable, to get to know a top management view on this.
With kind regards from Berlin
Yours Florian Junge
